A pale yellow wine with notes of summer wheat. It offers the aromas of ripe fruit, peaches, pears in syrup, a hint of white melon and notes of toasted hazelnuts. The sensation in the mouth is one of sweet tastes of candied fruit, papayas and peaches, blended with the rich freshness of the grapes’ own acidity. It is a wine with good body, considerable strength and balance in its flavours and long persistence. Recommended with fresh fish, carpaccio, seafood, clams with parmesan cheese, scallops au gratin, shell-fish pasties and chowders.
